Wie we zijn
Peppermill helpt projectontwikkelaars grond en sites vinden die niet te koop staan. Daarvoor combineren we openbare gegevens over percelen en nemen we discreet contact op met eigenaars. Peppermill is verantwoordelijk voor de verwerking van de persoonsgegevens die in deze verklaring beschreven staan.

We verkopen geen persoonsgegevens en we verhuren geen lijsten.
Wat grondeigenaars moeten weten
- Een ontwikkelaar ziet uw naam en contactgegevens pas nadat u hebt bevestigd dat u wil praten en de ontwikkelaar de site heeft aanvaard.
- Wat u ons niet bevestigde, tonen we als "niet bevestigd". We vullen niets in op basis van vermoedens.
- Wil u niet meer gecontacteerd worden? Laat het ons weten via hello@peppermill.land of het antwoordformulier in onze brief. We noteren uw bezwaar en contacteren u niet opnieuw.
Met wie we gegevens delen
Alleen met wie het nodig heeft voor het doel hierboven:
- De ontwikkelaar die een site aanvaardt, en alleen voor die site.
- Leveranciers die ons platform draaien, zoals onze hosting- en databaseleveranciers (Vercel en Supabase). Zij verwerken gegevens alleen in onze opdracht.
Wanneer een leverancier gegevens buiten de Europese Economische Ruimte verwerkt, gebeurt dat met de waarborgen die de AVG vraagt, zoals de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.
Hoe lang we gegevens bewaren
- Demo-aanvragen: tot 24 maanden na het laatste contact, tenzij u klant wordt.
- Accounts: zolang uw account actief is, en daarna zo lang als wettelijk nodig.
- Gegevens van eigenaars: zolang de site relevant is voor een lopende zoektocht, en nooit nadat u bezwaar maakte (we houden dan alleen bij dat u niet gecontacteerd wil worden).
Cookies
Deze website plaatst geen advertentie- of trackingcookies. We onthouden alleen uw taalkeuze in uw browser. Na het aanmelden op het platform bewaart uw browser een sessie zodat u ingelogd blijft.
Uw rechten
U kunt ons altijd vragen om uw gegevens in te kijken, te verbeteren of te wissen, om de verwerking te beperken, om uw gegevens mee te nemen, of om bezwaar te maken. Mail naar hello@peppermill.land. We antwoorden binnen een maand.
Bent u niet tevreden over hoe we met uw gegevens omgaan, dan kunt u klacht indienen bij de Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
Wijzigingen
Als we deze verklaring aanpassen, staat de nieuwe datum bovenaan. Bij belangrijke wijzigingen laten we het klanten ook persoonlijk weten.

Who we are
Peppermill helps property developers find land and sites that are not for sale. To do that, we combine public data about parcels and contact owners discreetly. Peppermill is responsible for processing the personal data described in this notice.
What data, why, and on what basis

We do not sell personal data and we do not rent out lists.
What landowners should know
- A developer only sees your name and contact details after you have confirmed you want to talk and the developer has accepted the site.
- Anything you have not confirmed is shown as "not confirmed". We never fill in gaps with assumptions.
- Don't want to be contacted again? Tell us at hello@peppermill.land or through the reply form in our letter. We record your objection and will not contact you again.
Who we share data with
Only with those who need it for the purposes above:
- The developer who accepts a site, and only for that site.
- Suppliers who run our platform, such as our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase). They process data only on our instructions.
Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, this happens with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Demo requests: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Accounts: for as long as your account is active, and afterwards as long as the law requires.
- Owner data: for as long as the site is relevant to an active search, and never after you objected (we then only keep a note that you do not want to be contacted).
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We only remember your language choice in your browser. After you sign in to the platform, your browser keeps a session so you stay signed in.
Your rights
You can always ask us to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable form, or to object. Email hello@peppermill.land. We reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Changes
When we update this notice, the new date appears at the top. For important changes, we also tell customers personally.
